Keynote Programs
With three decades of experience in Family Childcare and deep foundational knowledge of Child development, Mindfulness and SEL. Jessica brings both practical and hands on experience to your audience. With fun and interactive dialogue Jessica discusses ECE and FCC in an engaging and interactive conversation. Jessica combines research , data, personal reflections and humor to deliver a memorable and enjoyable presentation that will leave participants retelling personal reflections.
Jessica also offers presentations on Yoga, SEL, mindfulness, advocacy for children with disabilities and other topics that would appeal to audiences outside of ECE and educational sectors.
Attendees enjoy breathwork, SEL and mindfulness elements woven into the presentation to engage the audience and allow for mindful collaboration and a sense of community.

Keynote Options
Incorporating Gardening/ Farming in ECE Spaces.
In this 1.5-2 hour Keynote we deep dive into the physical, mental, social, and health benefits of gardening and farming with children. This conversation is packed full of practical tips and valuable resources as well as Jessica's personal reflection of her journey to create a direct connection between her childcare students and their food supply. This honest, humorous, and practical story will leave attendees inspired and eager to incorporate food,farm and gardening activities into their ECE spaces.
Cultivating Your Community as a Family Childcare Educator
One of the main frustrations for FCC educators is the lack of community. In other ECE modalities there are other educators, staff and support personnel to turn to for guidance, support and collaboration. Lets discuss the ways that an FCC educator can build this community. From CCRC to local, state, and national FCC associations. Jessica will share her own reflections and journey from isolation and borderline burnout to having a robust community of stakeholders. Attendees will leave this session with a sense of community within FCC.

(Practical self-care strategies for FCC Educators)
This 1.5 hour session discusses the emotional and mental toll caring for and educating young children can create. It is a safe space for all feelings. We discuss practical and preemptive solutions to avoid stress, aggravation and burnout. WIth deep personal reflection from Jessica this session leaves attendees feeling seen, heard and understood.
* Trigger warning - This session openly discusses abuse,trauma and ACES. It may trigger uncomfortable feelings/ emotions for those who have experienced this in their own life.
